Table of contents
When people ask about online promotion, they usually mean which platforms to post on. What actually blocks them is what to post and who writes it. Channels can be opened in a month; content has to ship every week. Reverse the order: build a production line first.
1. Four Content Types Are Enough
Stance content explains how you see a problem in the industry. Method content explains how to do something. Evidence content shows projects and data. Personality content shows the team, the plant, the daily work. A 2:4:3:1 ratio works well.
Stance gets remembered, method gets found in search, evidence gets believed, personality gets liked. Method only turns you into a tool account; personality only turns you into a lifestyle account. Imbalance is why many corporate accounts stall.
2. Production Cycles
| Type | Source | Cycle | Reusable as |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stance | Industry observation, customer questions | 2 hours | Short post, talking head, Q&A |
| Method | Internal process | 1 day | Long article, carousel, video |
| Evidence | Project records, test reports | 3 days | Case page, short video |
| Personality | On-site capture | 30 minutes | Photos, vlog clips |
Personality content has the best cost-to-output ratio and is usually skipped. The morning shift, a shipment leaving, a technician adjusting a valve — near zero cost, and often the main evidence that a company is real.
3. Reuse: Capture Once, Publish Five Ways
One site visit yields a long video, three vertical clips, six photos, one script and one carousel. The trick is shooting in layers: wide shot for context, medium shot for action, close-up for detail.
Good online promotion is measured by how many times one asset is used, not by posting frequency. Archive after one use and you restart from zero every time.
4. A Four-Week Schedule
| Week | Main line | Support | Output |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Method long article | Split into three short posts | 1 long + 3 short |
| 2 | Evidence case | One site shoot | 1 case + 5 photos |
| 3 | Stance piece | Record one talking head | 1 video + 2 posts |
| 4 | Personality day | Organise the asset library | 4–6 items |
The schedule moves "thinking about content" from daily to monthly. Once the four lines are set, execution is mechanics.
5. When Nobody Owns Content
Appoint a part-time content coordinator whose job is not writing everything but three actions: collect assets weekly, run a monthly topic meeting, and find one internal expert per piece to supply facts. Writing can be outsourced; facts cannot.
External teams fail when they have no factual input and produce generic copy — correct, and useless.
6. FAQ
What budget is reasonable? Cost is mostly labour. Outsourced pieces run 300–1,500 CNY each; run three months before judging.
Should we open every platform? No. Start with two: one search-friendly channel for long articles, one feed channel for short video.
Why is nobody reading? Check whether the headline uses internal jargon and whether the first two sentences give a conclusion.
