Full-Channel Marketing Agencies: Scope and Acceptance

"Full channel" is an imprecise label. It can mean channel operation, content production, or media buying alone. The same phrase produces quotes from 20,000 to 500,000 CNY, and the difference is which part of the work is actually done for you. Define the scope before comparing numbers.

    1. Four Segments of the Work

Diagnosis: site structure, keywords, competitors. Content production: articles, video, graphics. Distribution: publishing across platforms. Data and optimisation: which piece produced an enquiry.

Any segment can be outsourced alone. True full-channel work links all four, but linking them requires factual input from the client — otherwise the content becomes generic.

    2. What Each Package Delivers

    PackageDeliverablesAcceptanceMarket range

ContentArticles, graphics, videoVolume and pass rate300–1,500 CNY/piece
Channel operationAccount handling, publishingFrequency and data5k–20k CNY/month
Media buyingAccount setup, optimisationLead cost and volume10%–20% fee

If an agency bundles all four, write down each segment's deliverables. Contracts that say only "full-year promotion services" will execute to the lower bound.

    3. Three Jobs Not to Outsource

Your proprietary technical details and process descriptions, which outsiders cannot write accurately. Customer case authorisation and wording, which involves real relationships. Crisis messaging, which requires internal sign-off.

An agency can help organise these, but the facts must come from inside. No amount of channel experience tells them why your production line is designed that way.

    4. Comparing Quotes Fairly

Ask for pricing by segment to see which is expensive. Request two cases from your industry and ask about inputs and outcomes. Agree a one-month trial with deliverable-based acceptance. Compare unit costs: price per acceptable piece, cost per qualified lead.

The overlooked variable is pass rate. Three usable pieces out of ten versus nine out of ten makes a doubled unit price cheaper.

    5. Monthly Acceptance

Check four things monthly: the deliverable list is complete, content is published where agreed, you can log into analytics yourself, and next month's schedule arrived early.

    6. FAQ

Agency or small team? Match complexity: content-only work suits a small team; media buying plus data suits an agency.

Can we pay per result? Some channels allow cost-per-lead, usually at a higher unit price and requiring your team to follow up.

What to prepare before signing? A site audit, a competitor list and six months of enquiry records.
